"The Lark" ("Ciocârlia") (Angheluş Dinicu)
This familiar tune from Enescu's Romanian Rhapsody No. 1 was actually created by the Romanian violinist and composer Angheluş Dinicu. This piquant and propulsive arrangement for String Quartet sets Dinicu's skylark free to race and sing.
